Origo IDE has some really smooth demos to present the IDE’s capabilities. This is just the kind of applications i hope that Ovi Store will contain when it’s launched. The demo applications are all free so go ahead and try them out here.
This might not be the most usefull app but it’s definitely really cool and good looking!

Finally some well designed apps for the symbian platform. It’s a shame that almost all applications that’s produced for this platform looks like s**t. They have to learn that design sells.

Nokia released a beta of their messaging client for the s60 v5 platform on Nokia beta labs today. I’ve talked abit about this client in an earlier post and i’m glad to see that they released a beta version for us to try.

Although the graphics is not very polished it’s a really fun application to play around with. It really shows what potential the s60 v5 devices has. Lets just hope that some really good accelerometer enabled applications arrives soon.

I’m probably not the only one that occasionally uses my mobile phone as a flashlight. Most often it’s enough with just the backlight illumination from the screen but once in a while you need some real power lightning! Phone torch uses the camera led light and produces a really bright light.
